ADVANCED IMPROV EMPORIUM

Dates : October 13, 20, 27 & November 3, 10 & 17

Time: Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8:30PM

Price: $120

A 6 week class for students ages 16 and up who have taken a Basic Improvisation class or workshop. Focus is on character work, long-form scenes, storytelling and creating something from nothing. How to work with the audience, get a "call", set up your partner, tell a story (with several styles of theater, literature & film), and answer the question "In Order To What?" 6 weeks of saying yes, giving and getting gifts, and laughing while learning.

TEACHER BIO:

Andrew Alburgerhas worked as both an actor and teacher with Company of Fools since 2001. He has been performing and teaching improv for over 25 years, starting in New York City and continuing here with Company of Fools. He has taught acting and improv to all age groups, including the Academy program at WRHS and with St. Thomas Playhouse’s Company B.
